Seiki Design Studio presents Kova, a range of wooden vases designed for dried flowers, during the VDF x Ventura Projects collaboration.

Exhibitor: Seiki Design Studio
Project title: Kova

Seiki Design Studio is a Japanese practice led by industrial designer Seiki Ishii.

It is launching a collection of angular vases for displaying dried flowers, named Kova, as part of the VDF x Ventura Projects collaboration.

Kova comprises a range of vessels with different shapes, which are all modeled on a kenzan – a device used to hold stems within Japanese flower arrangements.

Each vase is made of the dark brown Kebony, a modified wood made from pine and maple, and is filled with dried cedar leaves into which dried flowers are inserted.
