Thai energy firm BCPG signs Laos wind power sale with Vietnam

Thai renewable power agency BCPG Pcl on Tuesday mentioned that its consortium had signed a 25-year settlement to ship wind power from a 600-megawatt venture in Laos to Vietnam.

A settlement between Vietnam’s electrical energy agency EVN and Affect Power Asia Growth (IEAD), of which BCPG holds a forty-five p.c stake, will provide electrical energy utilizing a 500-kilovolt transmission line from Laos to Quang Nam province in Vietnam.

Affect Wind Funding, backed by Japan’s Mitsubishi Company, holds a 55 p.c stake in IEAD.

Building on the Monsoon Wind Mission will start in 2022 with business operations focused for 2025. It might be the Affiliation of Southeast Asian Nations’ largest wind farm, BCPG mentioned in an announcement.
