Bamboo Airways, Vietjet suspend regular flights

Bamboo Airways, Vietjet, and Pacific Airways have suspended most of their common routes amid a surging variety of Covid-19 instances which have seen demand plunge.

Bamboo Airways will stop all common flights for 2 weeks from July 26 to August 7 amid the extreme unfold of the illness and social distancing measures imposed in main cities, it acknowledged.

Web sites of Vietjet and Pacific Airways on Tuesday confirmed few or no flights between well-liked locations like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh Metropolis, and Da Nang.

Most passenger flights between HCMC and Hanoi have been canceled since July 23 because the capital imposed strict social distancing.

Vietnam Airways is the one provider working on this route with most of two flights a day allowed.
