PIX 11– SOHO, Manhattan — After the looting started during some of the recent protests, SoHo was transformed into a plywood jungle.
Every store front quickly became boarded up.
Now, SoHo is transforming again. Artists are coming together to use the plywood as canvases with a social message.
More than an entire block was transformed into George Floyd murals and positive messages of change.
It’s called SoHo Social Impact and behind main organizer Tristan Reginato, they’re hoping to show that some powerful art can come out of all the unrest.
