Taiwanese-invested footwear maker Pouyuen Vietnam suspended 3,546 staff from the Mekong Delta Province of Tien Giang for seven days beginning Friday for Covid-19 contact tracing.

In accordance with Pouyuen Vietnam, the employees are employed throughout the manufacturing facility. Briefly suspending them would have an effect on its enterprise, forcing many employees to work time beyond regulation or inflicting the manufacturing facility to cut back manufacturing.
